About the Role

Our team is growing, and we’re looking for an awesome Veterinary Technician Assistant to join our fun and friendly crew. Whether you’ve been around animals your whole life or you’re just starting out in the veterinary world, if you’re eager to learn and love helping pets, we want you on our team! 

What You'll Be Doing: 

• Assisting our techs and vets during exams and treatments 

• Helping with patient intake – prepping patients for their exams and making them comfy 

• Administering medications, vaccines, and treatments (with lots of love, of course) 

• Keeping our treatment areas and exam rooms spotless 

• Explaining care instructions to pet parents and making sure everyone feels at ease 

• Helping out with clerical tasks and keeping patient records up to date 

• Handling and restraining animals safely and with care 

What We’re Looking For: 

• You love animals, obviously, and you’re excited about learning more about veterinary care 

• You’re a multitasker who can juggle a few things at once (without dropping the ball!) 

• Communication is key! You’re great at talking to both pets and their humans 

• Ability to work with a team and adapt to whatever the day throws at you 

• A positive attitude and a willingness to jump in and help whenever needed 

• Bonus points if you’ve got experience in animal care!
