About the Role

At New England Vet Clinic & Pet Resort we are dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care for the pets in our boarding facility. We are looking for a Part-Time Pet Care Attendant to join our team and ensure pets receive the best care during their stay with us. This position is ideal for someone available to work weekends and evenings. 

Responsibilities: 

• Provide daily care for pets in the boarding facility, including feeding, exercising, and monitoring their behavior. 

• Clean and maintain pet enclosures and common spaces to ensure a safe, comfortable, and hygienic environment. 

• Administer medications as directed by the veterinarian or supervisor. 

• Monitor the health and well-being of pets, noting any changes in behavior or physical condition. 

• Assist with pet check-ins and check-outs, providing a friendly and compassionate presence for pets and clients. 

• Ensure the safety and comfort of pets while under our care. 

Requirements: 

• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed. 

• A genuine love for animals and a compassionate, patient attitude. 

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and administer medications when required. 

• Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team. 

• Physical ability to lift and handle pets of various sizes and weights (up to 50lbs)
